Organised by Human Appeal International and for the first time in Australia an Online Eid Show was held on Monday afternoon the 25th of May at Clued TV Studio in Villawood. The event was conducted to replace the physical Eid Show that used to be held at Bankstown Showground in Condell Park.
The program was packed with a variety of activities that included Live interviews with a group of community leaders such as Khal Asfour; the City of Canterbury-Bankstown Mayor and his deputy Mr. Bilal Al-Hayek who attended to the studio with his family along with Br. Abdulnaser Elghirani the manager of Orphans department from Human Appeal Australia. The Grand Mufti of Australia Dr Ibrahim Abu Mohamed and Hon Tony Burke the MP of Watson NSW both had online engagement.
The Program was presented by Human Appeal staff Mohammad Shokrany and Raghda Assoum and initiated by a short speech by Human Appeal Director; Mr. Bashar Al-Jamal in which he congratulated Muslims across Australia and thanked Human Appeal Donors for their significant contribution that exceeded last year donation, in spite of COVID-19 Pandemic, by 20%.
During the live Show lovely and lively kids showcased their amazing skills and talents in the thrilling games conducted in the studio. They performed exceptionally well in front of cameras that reflected the depth of talent that exists in the local communities.
More than a thousand online visitors had an amazing opportunity to witness the biggest jetpack show and celebrate the end of the fasting month of Ramadan in a family-friendly environment, enjoying an array of thrilling Eid songs, entertaining games and pleasant congratulations from community leaders and religious heads.
The Online Eid Show 2020 event was surely an evening of entertainment that will be remembered for a long time to come. It was a night full of great excitement and fun-filled enjoyment.
