WORKING WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITIES
For those millions of people who are born into a life of poverty, life is a struggle. They grow up without access to what we take for granted: food, education, healthcare, and opportunities to make a living. The cycle continues, with generation after generation being born into the same difficult circumstances.
BREAKING THE CYCLE OF POVERTY
Livelihood generation projects are aimed at sustainable development in order to break the cycle of poverty itself. By creating jobs, families not only support themselves but the local economy and industry as well. This in turn forms independent, self-sustaining communities for generations to come.
Human Appeal Australia works with in-community partners and communities themselves in order to determine their needs and the programs best suited for that environment. This is achieved by working within the community and looking at what existing resources, materials, and skills are available. We then develop a program best suited for their needs and work with them to design, implement, monitor, and evaluate the project.
