The ongoing attacks on Gaza have led to catastrophic consequences in the region, bringing unimaginable suffering to countless innocent lives. As we speak, entire neighbourhoods, residential blocks and hospitals have been reduced to rubble, resulting in a devastating toll on human life and infrastructure.
According to the latest reports from the Gaza Health Ministry, at least 37,877 people have been killed including 15,000 children since October. Over 86,000 people have been injured in the attacks with more than 10,000 people missing.
The bombardments have continued to increase over the past months and the situation has become one of the worst humanitarian crises in modern history.
In response, Human Appeal is actively coordinating efforts with its on-ground team in Gaza to aid the displaced and medically injured. We are on the ground now, making sure emergency supplies are ready and delivered consistently, including:
- Water
- Food Parcels & Fresh bread
- Fruit & Vegetable Hampers
- Shelter & Bedding
- Medical Aid
Human Appeal Australia has been in Gaza for over 20 years, delivering immense support to locals even at the peak of catastrophe. Our paramedics have been on the ground working with and supporting Al-Shifa Hospital in the North prior to the outbreak of war and continue to do so. Recently, we successfully renovated Al-Helou Hospital which has resumed function of the facility offering much needed treatment to injured civilians.
Our current Gaza Emergency Appeal is focused on accumulating relief packs which consist of essentials such as food parcels, tents and sleeping bags among other items in efforts to alleviate the pain of those living through such disastrous conditions.
We are mobilising all available resources, but we can’t do it alone. Your generous support can make a significant difference in providing the urgent aid necessary to preserve life as much as possible.
No donation is too small. Every contribution counts when it comes to saving lives, offering hope and solace to those who have lost everything.
