This month, the Sydney Muslim Cyclists (SMC) raised over $3,500 dedicated to emergency relief for Sudan and Palestine during a fundraiser bike-ride in partnership with Human Appeal Australia (HAA).
In a truly inspirational effort, the members cycled their way from the Blue Mountains to Lakemba, at a total distance of 115km. A separate group decided to cycle a staggering 220km to and from the Blue Mountains, with all the participants ending their purposeful journey at Lakemba Mosque.
Sydney Muslim Cyclists are a community group of passionate cyclists with a common purpose, supporting our journey on the road to goodness. This organisation has been a longstanding supporter of HAA, collaborating on a variety of projects and contributing immensely to our humanitarian campaigns. This particular initiative was no different, working towards generating relief funds for communities in Palestine and Sudan who continue to face devastating hardships due to the ongoing emergencies.
