A powerful category-five storm hit Fiji’s second-largest island Vanua Levu on Thursday evening, bringing torrential rain and widespread flooding across low-lying areas of the archipelago.
At least two have died including a three months old baby, hundreds of buildings were destroyed and crops flattened.
The residents affected by the cyclone are in need for immediate relief.
