COMBATTING SOCIAL ISOLATION FOR SENIORS DURING COVID-19
Human Appeal Australia is proudly launching the HOPE Essentials Drive, the project is aimed at providing essential packs including food items and hygiene kits to our seniors during the lockdown and tough times due to the COVID-19 outbreak. In addition to providing them with social phone calls and regular check-ups to make sure they are being taken care of considering the current social distancing advice.
We are reaching out to our community to help us help our senior citizens get through the pandemic. Many of whom are home-bound and have no one to care for their needs, but we are here for them.
With your generous support, HOPE Essentials Drive is proposed to be available throughout the COVID-19 pandemic as well as to the end of 2021.
In 2020 Human Appeal Australia Launched its HOPE Campaign “Helping Older People Engage” to provide social support and aid those community seniors. We reached out to over 400 community members, staying in touch with phone calls, distributing food parcels and hygiene kits.
Our HOPE Campaign
We are aiming to provide 1000 seniors and needy families with food parcels and hygiene kits to help them stay safe during the second wave of COVID-19 and recent lockdowns.
We are reaching out to our community to help us help our seniors get through the pandemic. Please help us help them by donating generously.
