Last Friday, the city of Izmir in Turkey suffered from a devastating 7.0 magnitude earthquake that shook the region.
Human Appeal Australia’s director, Bashar Al-Jamal, immediately travelled to epicenter of where the disaster took place to supervise our emergency relief campaign & provide moral support to those affected.
In cooperation with our field partners, we’ve been able to distribute 500 food parcels, 1000 double blankets & 5000 hot meals to the victims of the earthquake, providing them with some form of relief to get by until they’re back on their feet.
