In a heartfelt mission to support vulnerable communities in Kyrgyzstan, Human Appeal Australia’s Director, Brother Bashar Al-Jamal, recently visited Bishkek and surrounding areas to oversee the organization’s charitable projects. His visit was marked by the supervision of the distribution of winter appeal essentials, including blankets, food parcels, and heating fuel, benefiting thousands of needy individuals facing the harsh winter conditions.
During his visit, Brother Bashar Al-Jamal engaged with key figures in Kyrgyzstan’s social and political landscape. He met with Sheikh Zamir Rakiev, President of the Shura Council and Muslim Scholars in Kyrgyzstan, to discuss collaborative efforts in educational and community development initiatives. Additionally, he held discussions with Tcheblon Alifna, a member of the Kyrgyz Parliament, to explore ways to enhance humanitarian support and government cooperation in aiding underprivileged populations.
Recognizing the vital role of healthcare services in the region, Brother Bashar also met with Iskander Shayyakh, the manager of Bishkek Ambulance Services. Their discussions focused on the challenges faced by emergency medical responders during the winter months and potential avenues for providing additional assistance to improve healthcare accessibility.
