Human Appeal Australia along with Canterbury Hospital organised a lunch for the doctors at Canterbury hospital in support of their initiative; CrazySocks4Docs – for doctors’ mental health.
Human Appeal Australia came on board to support the initiative as an acknowledgement of the doctors’ tremendous efforts especially through Covid-19 crisis. The event took place today at 1pm at the hospital’s foyer, the lunch concluded by 2pm.
It was a well-received event that highlighted the huge efforts doctors have provided and still providing specially during the COVID-19 epidemic. The event were attended by attended by: Human Appeal’s Director Bashar Al-Jamal, Jihad Dib, MP, Sophie Cotsis, MP, Khal Asfour, Mayor of Canterbury Bankstown City Council, Bilal El-Hayek, Deputy Mayor for Canterbury Bankstown City Council, Kiel Harvey, General Manager of Canterbury Hospital, Dr Eileen Rogan, Director of Medical Services/ Canterbury Hospital.
