The Humanitarian situation in Iraq is worsening day by day as the crisis expands from area to area increasing hostilities.
More than 1.5 million people escaped areas such as Al Anbar, Diyala, Mosul, Tikrit, and many other surrounding villages in the provinces of Kirkuk, Erbil and
Urgent Bosnia Appeal.
Over I Million people affected.
The people of Bosnia are still in shock having never witnessed anything like the flood that took place last week and neither has Bosnia for the last 120 years! As flood came down mountains, rushed through the valleys and filled Bosnia landscape; homes, business’ and livelihood got destroyed leaving some people dead, hundreds of thousands stranded and in need.
300 families have been completely wiped out when over 2,100 people died in the landslides that struck the north eastern area of Afghanistan. Heavy rain in recent time has made the area susceptible to natural disasters such as what we saw last Friday. After the first landslide struck, residents from a neighbouring village came to the rescue only to be caught by a second landslide that brought down the entire side of one hill and thousands of tonnes of mud and earth.
THE SITUATION OF SYRIA >>
It has now been over 3 years since the Syria crisis began and with all the bloodshed and tragedy, recent strikes show no sign of slowing down. For those still inside Syria the daily attacks are still destroying homes, schools and more importantly the lives of thousands of innocent residents. Most recently the residents of Yabroud were the victims of air strikes and thousands have been forced to flee to neighbouring Lebanon seeking refuge. For those that have fled, their lives and dreams have been shattered. Their houses have been destroyed and lives devastated ,
