NSW Lakemba- Thursday, 25 May 2023 Human Appeal Australia’s Head Office, CCBC Mayor Bilal El-Hayek and Previous CCBC Mayor Khal Asfour and Lebanese Muslim Association management including LMA Presidetnt Br Hafiz Alameddine, Sheikh Yahya Safi the Imam of “Imam Ali Bin Abi Taleb Mosque” and Br Khaled Alameddine paid a visit to the Community Charity Organisation Human Appeal Australia, engaging in discussions with the organisation’s leaders including the managing director Br Bashar Al-Jamal, Director of Projects Issam Chaouk, Head of Communty Care Amin El-Bureeny about fostering cooperation to address pressing community needs.
The visit aimed to strengthen ties between the local government and community organisations and explore collaborative efforts for the betterment of the city.
During the meeting, Mayor El-Hayek expressed his admiration for the dedicated work of Human Appeal Australia in providing essential services to vulnerable populations. He acknowledged the valuable role of community organisations in tackling social challenges and emphasised the significance of collaboration between the public and private sectors.
Director Bashar Al-Jamal stated that
“human Appeal Australia will always be in the service of the community locally and internationally. The progress of the community should stem from the cooperative work of all factions. and I believe that by working together, we can achieve even greater outcomes”
Sheikh Yahya Safi finished his talk with a supplication to Allah for the success of the gathering in making our community better.
The visit to the leading community charity organisation ended, it left a sense of optimism among attendees, with hopes high for the positive impact that collaborative efforts can bring to the local community.
